Included with the Ultimate Package is a HPH1000 controller. The HPH1000 series controllers are used for many of the HPH product offerings, including our infrared monitoring product. The HPH1000 series controllers are very low profile (3" wide x 3" deep x 1.5" tall) permitting an easy installation just about anywhere. They are packaged in a waterproof, submersion capable enclosure permitting direct mounting in wet environments. The controller supplied with this package has the following features:
- Wi-Fi Hot Spot: The HPH1000 controller features a Wi-Fi hotspot and smartphone interface that is compatible with both Android and iOS smartphones. We also support any device with a web browser, such as a laptop. With an unmatched smartphone interface, configuration is intuitive and easy.
- Support for remote display. The HPH1000 controller comes with an RJ12 socket. All HPH displays are equipped with RJ12 plugs to allow quick connection to any HPH1000 controller. In addition to the remote display, all data can be displayed through the smartphone interface.
- Support for infrared sensor. The HPH1000 controller comes with a 4-pin male Delphi connector. All HPH infrared sensors are equipped with a 4-pin female Delphi connector to allow quick connection to any HPH 1000 controller.
- The HPH1000 controller requires 12 VDC to operate and is powered through its 10-pin female Delphi connector. Only two of the pins are required to provide power to the HPH1000 controller. The harness provided with this package provides a quick power connection to any HPH1000 controller.
- Support for RTD monitoring. The HPH1000 controller comes with a 3-pin male Delphi connector to allow quick connection to any HPH RTD sensor.
- The harness provided with this package has provisions to easily connect a blower to the HPH1000 controller's 10 pin female Delphi connector. The blower connection is best made using the HPH BLW1-3 harness that provides fused protection for the connected blower.
- Support for dash mount combo light / rocker switch (HPH DLRS). The HPH1000 controller's 10 pin female Delphi connector provides the ability to connect the HPH DLRS. The wiring harness provided with this package has support for wiring this switch.
- Data Logging
REMOTE DISPLAY Model Number: HPHDSP2-13-B
Included with the Ultimate Package is an HPHDSP2-13-B remote display. This is a blue LED display. The dimmable display features 0.56", 4 digit, LEDs and is housed in a 2.75" diameter x 1" plastic puck style housing. The display is covered with a custom tinted acrylic that allows both clear viewing in direct sunlight, and perfect shading for nighttime viewing. INFRARED SENSOR Model Number: HPHIS1-4 Housed in a unique thermally isolated PTFE housing, the HPH IS1-4 features HPH's patent pending technology that provides accurate and reliable infrared temperature measurement. The sensor housing is rated for temperatures as high as 400°F. The infrared sensor is perfect for monitoring drive belt temperature of any CVT system. WIRE HARNESS Model Number: HPHWH2
The HPHWH2 plugs and to the HPH 10 pin female connector and provides a means for easy power connection, blower connection, dash mount combo light / rocker switch (HPHDLRS), speed correction, and speed override. The HPHWH5 cables are protected with flame retardant (UL-94 / V2), polypropylene wire loom rated for installations from -40°F to 275°F. For additional information about HPHWH2, click here.
WIRE HARNESS Model Number: HPH BLW1-3
The HPHWH3 harness plugs into the HPHWH2 harness and provides a convenient fused connection to a blower.
WIRE HARNESS Model Number: HPHWH5
The HPHWH5 harness plugs into the HPHWH2 harness and provides a connection to the hall effect sensor.
DASH MOUNT LIGHT/ROCKER SWITCH Model Number: HPHDLRS
This switch mounts in the dash and provides a reassuring green power light to indicate that the belt protection system is running normally and a red belt light to indicate a high belt temperature. The remote display can be brightened and dimmed by toggling the switch. On Polaris Packages, the switch allows the user to disable the speed override mode that activates on a high belt temperature. RTD SENSOR Model Number: HPHRS1-3
The RTD sensor is typically mounted such that it measures the exhaust temperature of the air leaving the CVT housing. HPH has a unique feature that allows the RTD to be used as a secondary source of protection to ensure that the drive belt is not getting too hot. Though extensive data modeling, HPH has developed a relationship between the actual belt temperature and the air leaving the CVT housing, consequently HPH offers a proprietary belt protection system that uses the infrared temperature as the primary protection and the RTD temperature as the secondary protection.
